Marianne Holland papers, 1958-1995.

Consisting of letters, scrapbooks, photographs, concert programs, playbills, certificates, minutes, printed items, and audio and video recordings documenting Holland's career as music educator and her leadership in such organizations as the South Carolina Music Educators Association and the South Carolina Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. Items of interest include scrapbook, 1987, Spring Valley High School Fine Arts Department, documenting achievements for which the department received the 1987 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award, with special commendation to Holland in the arts education category; musical score for choral setting of a portion of Henry Timrod's poem "Ethnogenesis," commissioned by Dreher High School, Columbia, S.C., in 1970, along with audio tape of its performance. Also including minutes of the Evening Music Club, Columbia, S.C., 1964-1994; and "A History of the Columbia Choral Society," 1983.
